The Origin Of Vampires

Now I'm pretty sure I raised a couple of questions from the extract I shared where Marcius and Gallus battle a couple of vampires. You all know now from where the Demigods originated from but vampires are an entirely different category.

Vampires are not demigods. Vampires have existed from the very beginning of time. They have been myths from time to time but they've been very real. Vampires were for some time thought to have originated from Dracula. However, vampires were around long before his time.

The first note that needs to be made is that the word vampire originated from humans. However, the vampire race has always been referred to in holy books. The problem was that no one ever connected the dots because once the humans started giving them the vampire name, it created a large gap from their original name.

The holy books consisted of two considerable races, one of purity and the other of sin, angels and demons. None of these races were ever confirmed to have been seen. They were subjects of faith, just as God was. Everyone had an idea of what an angel was and looked like. Demons were constantly portrayed lesser versions of the Devil. There were never enough details about them.

So what connection am I trying to make here? Vampires are Demons. They are the direct opposites of Angels. Whether they are commanded by the Devil himself or they are just hell-spawn is still unknown. So how different will these vampires be?

Vampire strengths:

-Increased sensitivity off all six senses

-Increased agility

-Increased strength

Vampire weaknesses:

-Weak against fire

-Weak against holy water

No weaknesses against sunlight, garlic or mirrors. One cannot be turned into a vampire by being bitten. A soul has to be cast out of hell to be turned into a vampire.

And that's all for now folks. Next post will be tomorrow! Stay tuned! Comment and share!
